Day 1

Catamaran that took us to the trail head on day 1

Let’s go…’W’ here we come!

Windy weather out here…but I love it 🙂

Beautiful views

Glaciers nearby…

…and Glacier Grey far away – the place to go for us on day 1

Shaky bridges to cross…

…but we finally made it to the glacier viewpoint
Day 2

Here she’s still laughing…

…but when we have to go uphill you can’t hear a word 😉

Day 3

Rainy weather and fog on our way up the French valley

But we made it to the sign of the lookout anyway (although I doubt that there was the real lookout…)

The view is fantastic anyways

It was worth climbing over rocks in the French valley – the view up here is great!

We continue to the next camp site…

Halfway done

And on we go along the stunning scenery of the lake…

…to the camp of day 3 at Cuernos (some where down there are the tents)
Day 4

Still too much stuff to carry around…

but I made it over the suspension bridge anyway.

Keep smiling…

No words necessary to understand the message: Half of the park was burned by an idiot a few years ago

Almost there I thought…but then it was still a bloody long way to go to the Torres camp site

Reunion with Maya after 2 days and the guy who climbed the Torres twice on one single day 😉

Day 5

We got up at 4 o’clock to climb to the base of the Torres and enjoyed the sunrise
