Nach meiner einwöchigen Zwangspause in Auckland zwecks Wiederherstellung der Biosicherheit in meinem Magen bin ich endlich wie geplant nach Süden aufgebrochen. Dank dem kostenlosen doppelten Upgrade der Autovermietung habe ein nettes Wägelchen erhalten und so ging’s recht flott voran: Die diversen Camper vom Typ ‘Wicked Campers’ oder ‘Juicy’ habe ich jedenfalls alle problemlos links liegen gelassen 🙂 Erste Station meiner Reise war Rotorua, wo ich die heissen Quellen im ‘Geothermal Wonderland von Wai-O-Tapu’ besucht und mich zum Kuren in ein polynesisches Spa begeben habe. Die diversen Löcher im Boden und das Geblubbere und Gerauche in den verschiedensten Farben könnt ihr auf den Bildern in der neu eröffneten Gallery New Zealand begutachten. Lieder kann ich den Schwefelgestank dazu noch nicht via Internet transportieren…
Gesichtscreme vom Typ ‘Schlamm’ – wenn’s hilft… 😉
After the end of my enforced timeout in Auckland for the purpose of biosecurity restoration in my stomach I finally headed south as I had originally planed. Thanks to the free double upgrade by the car rental company I got a fancy vehicle and therefore managed to go quite fast: At least I were able to overtake the various camper vans of type ‘Wicked Campers’ or ‘Juicy’ without any problems 🙂 First stop on my journey was Rotorua where I visited the hot springs of the ‘Geothermal Wonderland Wai-O-Tapu’ and enjoyed treatments at a Polynesian Spa. The various holes in the ground and all the bubbling and steaming in diverse colors can be admired in the newly opened Gallery New Zealand. Unfortunately I cannot transfer the evil smell to you via the Internet…
